Litter Theme: Gods & Goddesses

Purpose: This litter was the start of our work in marked rats.

Result: This litter was filled with energetic, fun-loving rats. Two nice, dark American Blues were produced while the others were of the lighter variation. Amadeus had 'mottling' along his sides. Health not as excellent as it could be and type needs a lot of work.

Comments: Temperamentally great rats, but overall health and type need work. Loki sustained a head injury (scratch from mom) at 2 days of age. It did not affect him once healed, but he sported a scar his entire life.

Due to an SDA infection affecting our rattery in May/June 2005 and the six month quarantine period following our illness, we made the decision to keep back the entire litter.
